ELIM Orphanage is a small, family run non-profit organisation in Cusco, Peru. Founded in 2000 by the social worker Nilda Escobar. She began by feeding the street children of Cusco and by 2002 had purchased the first permanent location in which she could home 6 young boys.

The orphanage has since grown to house up to 30 children at one time but it still needs all of the help it can get. With on site volunteer accommodation this is the perfect place to give something back, and if you contact ELIM directly all proceeds go straight in to the upkeep of the project. You are provided with a safe, comfortable room separate from the children and are treated as one of the ELIM family from the second you arrive.
